Dr. Jill moved to Fort Collins in 1996 from the Chicago area. She attended Colorado State University where she received her undergraduate degree (Biology) in 1999 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2003. She moved back to the Midwest after graduation for a few years to gain practice experience but missed the weather and the people of Fort Collins. After returning to Fort Collins in 2006 she worked at many veterinary practices along the Front Range and atarea shelters as a relief veterinarian. This year, in 2012, she decided to take the big step and start her own practice. She loves working in the same community that she and her family live in. "My main goal is to create a warm and inviting practice where the staff, clients, and pets feel at home while keeping the prices affordable for families." When she is not at the hospital she enjoys mountain biking, skiing, going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family including her pets - a little terrier mix named Sprocket, and 3 cats - Twix, Griffin, and Maxwell.

Throughout Middle School, Macy adored coming in to shadow Dr. Jill and the FRAH team. Now in High School, she is thrilled to actually be working at Fossil Ridge as an intern. Macy has competed and placed at both the Larimer County and Colorado State 4-H Dog Shows where she loved learning to train and handle different types of animals. She is excited to combine learning and work experience while cuddling four-legged friends!
Kris in her own words - Although I consider myself to be a Coloradoan, I was born in Middletown, CT. When I was 7, my family made their way through the U.S. and we lived in many different cities and states. Right after high school in Arizona, I enrolled at CSU where I received a BS in Psychology. Except for two years, I have been a resident of Northern Colorado since 1984. Now I make my home in Fort Collins surrounded by awesome guys. My husband Bryan, two fun boys Tucker (20) and Reagan (14) and of course my animals. Diesel is our 100-pound black lab. He is very sweet, very pretty and very much a big baby. Oscar is our fuzzy kitty, whom I adopted from Dr. Jill. He is also very pretty but sometimes naughty. The only other girl energy in our house happens to be a cute little brown rat named Kitty. I love to travel, read and spend time outside in the garden, hiking or just having a cold beer with friends.
